Velux Fixed Skylights - FS and FCM Models Velux supply two different models of fixed Skylights. Their standard range is the FS Model Skylights, the other is the FCM Model Curb Mounted Skylights. A fixed skylight will give you the full benefit of the light, but no ventilation. Therefore it is suitable for rooms where adequate ventilation already exists. Velux Fixed Skylights - FS Models The Velux FS fixed skylight (known as the Velux FS model skylight) is a fixed non-vented skylight. The inner frame is made from Nordic pine and is treated with preservative. The FS Model fixed skylights are available in the following sizes:

eg: a FS101 skylight is a 550x700mm Manually Opening Velux Skylight The FS Model Skylights are all supplied with double glazing with two different options available for most models (The FS306 FS601 and FS 606 are not available in the 0075 Comfort Glazing. (click here for the two glazing options) They are supplied complete with the flashing kit that will suit most roof types. 
The Velux Fixed Skylights - FS Models can be supplied with optional blind accessories to diffuse light in a room or block the light out completely. The Blinds that can be supplied to suit the FS Model Skylights: - Block out Blinds - Electric operation only
- Venetian Blinds - Both Electric and Manual operation
- Pleated Blinds - Manual Operation only

A Rod control is also needed when ordering the manual blinds to operate them. Velux Curb Mounted Skylights - FCM Models The VELUX curb mounted skylight is the ideal product to be installed in a commercial or industrial building such as schools, warehouses, offices - the list is endless! The FCM can be installed on roof pitches from 0-60 degrees. However, VELUX always recommends a minimum pitch to prevent water pooling on the glass.
